Wildfire Smokeless Coal for Heritage Steam

CPL Products (Homefire Group) has been working with members of the Heritage Steam community including National Traction Engine Trust, and other engine operators for the last two years to develop a manufactured smokeless fuel that meets the requirements of users.

Tom Attwood of NTET writing in Old Glory magazine (April, 2023) about a recent trial run with Wildfire Smokeless was complimentary, commenting that "the steaming characteristics were excellent", "gives reactivity and ease of ignition" and "there was no clinker whatsoever", but cautioned that "it takes some learning and adaptation to get the best results".
