- Make sure your combustion chamber is free of any existing debris or soot from your last fire by cleaning it thoroughly.
- Place firelighters and kindling in the area where you will start your fire and burn the firelighters; this will generate small flames to begin with.
- Pour a generous amount of Brazier smokeless coal on top of the other components to make your fire stronger. Spread the briquettes evenly across the area.
