Having recently formed a new partnership with the Woodland Trust, we’re now encouraging our customers to get involved as well.
The Woodland Trust is the UK’s largest woodland conservation charity and its ongoing work has helped create, protect and restore native woodland since 1972.
Continued work by thousands of volunteers, as well as money received through membership subscriptions play a key role in helping the Woodland Trust achieve its goals.
Everyone has their own reason to volunteer with the Woodland Trust and there’s plenty of different ways you can get involved in your area such as:
- Attending a one day tree planting event
- Joining a regular work party for your local woodland
- Becoming a voluntary warden
- Measuring seasonal events in relation to climate change
- Hunting for ancient trees
- Becoming a voluntary speaker or a local media volunteer – among others
